CYAI offers three certifications: Instructor, Teacher and Therapist. All of these certifications require a qualifying preliminary certification that is called Certification for Patanjali Fundamentals.
Yoga is taught in schools worldwide using a wide variety of methods, rigor and emphasis. More often focus is largely on practices relating to Hatha Yoga. Yoga teachers and practitioner can all benefit from a solid grounding in the fundamentals of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras to further their teachings and practice. CYAI Certificate for Patanjali Fundamentals certifies a yoga teacher or practitioner in the foundational information for yoga as described by Maharishi Patanjali. CYAI mission is focused on standardizing yoga education.
CYAI issues this certificate after examining for the knowledge of Patanjali Fundamental. CYAI provides a textbook, online resources and a course to help yoga aspirants prepare for the exam.
Upon qualifying with Patanjali Fundamentals, Instructor Certificate is offered after monitoring of instructor sessions to ensure safety and competency in conducting a class.
